Prices start at $10/month for 10 gigs, and they also offer an unlimited download account with shorter retention for $15/month. Their best package allows unlimited downloads plus 70+ days retention for $20/month. We chose NewsHosting as our winner because we feel their service represents the best combination of price and quality of all the sites that were tested and reviewed.

This is another excellent provider, and has been one of the industry leaders for quite a while. Giganews boasts over 200 days of binary retention, which is the longest retention of any Usenet provider. They also have excellent completion rates. However, they are slightly more expensive than others, with plans starting at $8/month for 2 gigs, on up to $25/month for unlimited. If you don't mind paying a little extra we strongly recommend this provider. You will definitely get what you pay for.

Easynews is an amazing value at only $10 for 20 gigs. They also allow you to roll over unused gigs into your next billing cycle, and earn extra gigs the longer you are a customer. Plus, their interface is very good and user friendly. The only real drawback with Easynews is that their speed and retention are not quite as good as some of the other top providers

Alibis offers really great bang for the buck. For $18.95/month ($10.83/month if you sign up for one year) you are allowed over 9 gigs of downloading per day. Our other runners up do have slightly better retention and completeness, but Alibis is still an excellent provider all around, and a value that simply can't be beat. If you are planning on downloading a lot, this could be the one for you.
